LiveFromTheWorldYo: Chris Lake in San Diego

San Diego Music Festival

Heeeyyy it’s me, Beseeingtheworldyo! Last weekend, I was at the Waterfront Park in San Diego, where I got to see Chris Lake!

And let me tell you, going to a music festival in San Diego is a total game changer. It was warm and sunny the whole time! In SF, the afterparty must-have is always a jacket. In San Diego? Just pizza.

My friends and I snagged a room right by the venue, which made getting in and out so easy. Sadly, my backpack was too big for the  FNGRS CRSSD rules, so I had to ditch my normal concert bag. At least my back felt great! And the water bottles were affordable and in these cool stainless steel bottles.

When Chris Lake first came on, the bass was so loud you could feel it shaking your whole body. My earplugs were definitely my best friend! The first hour of his set was so good—he played a lot of stuff from his new album, Chemistry. But then it got a little heavy with some of his Anti Up tunes, so my friends and I took a break to grab some pizza and check out the merch.

I gotta say, one of the best parts was how friendly everyone was. People were actually starting conversations with me, which just doesn’t happen often in SF.

This little weekend trip to see Chris Lake was so fun, and it was a great excuse to stick around and spend time with my in-laws.

Catch you on the next adventure, World Yo Fam! You know I’ll Be Seeing You around!
