Live From the World Yo: Sarandë Boat Tour Adventures & Secret Swims!

Heyyy, it’s me, Beseeingtheworldyo! I just got back from an incredible Sarandë boat tour here in sunny Albania, and my mind is still reeling from all the stunning Albanian Riviera blue water!

We knew exploring the Ksamil islands and nearby Sarandë coast was a must-do Albania boat trip. We found this extended Sarandë boat tour on Viator, which promised plenty of time for swimming and an extended beach session.

Our tour guide was no-frills, but he expertly navigated us from place to place, making for a smooth Sarandë day trip. We got to see some kitchy small caves and even discovered a secret beach in Sarandë, but the absolute best part was the incredible swimming spots we visited.

Kicking off the boat tour with a magical stop at Shpella e Milotit, an epic photo op right from the sea. This limestone cave along the Albanian Riviera is the stuff of fantasy novels—crystal clear water + dramatic cliffs = instant wanderlust. #BeSeeingTheWorldYo

My favorite stop was a stunning turquoise bay framed by cool white walls – perfect for a refreshing swim in Sarandë’s warm waters! The next unique spot had fresh water coming from an underground spring, creating a fascinating mix of cool and warm water as we swam.

This quick swim stop at Kepi i Qefalit turned out to be one of the coolest surprises of the day. Besides the shockingly blue water, the cliffs here are insane—striped with these natural layers that look like someone carved brush strokes right into the stone. It honestly felt like swimming through a geology textbook (but, like, in the best way). I couldn’t stop staring. Only accessible by boat—another win for #BeSeeingTheWorldYo

Next up: a quick dip at Kepi i Qefalit—just 20 minutes to float in some of the bluest water I’ve ever seen! This hidden gem is only accessible by boat and perfect for swimming and snorkelling. The water was calm, clear, and straight out of a postcard. #BeSeeingTheWorldYo

Finally, we landed at a beautiful beach for a longer stop. Though it was a bit rocky, it offered fantastic opportunities for drone flying, capturing aerial views of our Albania boat trip.

Krorëza Beach was the star of the show. We had 3 hours here to swim, grab a drink, and lounge under these cute little umbrella huts. Totally remote, but with just enough beach bars and sunbeds to feel like a vibe. This is what beach daydreams are made of. #BeSeeingTheWorldYo

I was so stoked we were able to capture so many awesome drone videos on the boat tour! We truly couldn’t have asked for better flying conditions – no crowds, no wind, and no restrictions. That said, I’m quickly learning that uploading and editing these videos on the fly is time consuming with spotty hotel WiFi, so bear with me on these for now, okay?
