Exploring Butrint, Albania
Heyyyyy, it’s me! BeSeeingTheWorldYo coming to you live from Albania!
Just landed in Sarandë after a quick ferry from Corfu. First impressions? Beautiful… but hot.
A bit of a sweat-fest thanks to a rogue AC unit, making my room a balmy 28°C / 82°F. Woke up tired, but ready to chill… literally.
Day two? Slept in hard—we’re talking skipped-breakfast, “do not disturb” energy. But then… the call to adventure struck!
We hopped on a bus to Butrint National Archaeological Park, and wow—this place is a time machine. From Greek ruins to Roman forums, ancient theaters to Byzantine basilicas, every corner told a story. The defense walls and grand stone gates were straight-up epic.
Yes, it was 35°C / 95°F. Yes, I was melting. And yes, I’d do it all over again. I became best friends with every sliver of shade I could find, which was thankfully a lot.
